Okeechobee County Legislative Delegation to meet Dec. 9

OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee County Legislative Delegation will convene on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. to conduct local business, including a public hearing on local bills and other issues. The meeting will be at the Judge Williams L. Hendry Courtroom, Room 270, Okeechobee, Florida. Due to COVID, facemasks are recommended and social distancing will be practiced.

Anyone wishing to address the delegation should submit your name, phone number, address and the topic of your presentation to williams.jae@flsenate.gov on or before Wednesday Dec. 3, along with any supporting documents. Information may also be mailed to Senator Ben Albritton, 410 Taylor Street, Suite 106, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.

The primary purpose of the meeting is to consider proposed legislation of local application. As time permits, we will allow members of the public to speak on state issues of concern to them.
