Okeechobee County Schools' COVID-19 Update

OKEECHOBEE — Between Saturday, August 14 and Friday, August 20, 1,451 students and/or staff members, 1449 students and two staff members, were excluded from in-person instruction in Okeechobee County Schools due to possible COVID-19 contact.

• Osceola Middle School-413

• South Elementary School-67
• Yearling Middle School-152

Between Saturday, August 14 and Friday, August 20, 88 students and/or staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

Since school began on August 10, 2021, 1609 exclusions and 104 positive test results have been reported.
