OKEECHOBEE — Between Saturday, August 28 and Friday, September 3, 448 students and/or staff members were excluded from in-person instruction in Okeechobee County Schools due to possible COVID-19 contact:
•Central Elementary- 11
• District Staff- 0
• Everglades Elementary- 24
• North Elementary- 37
• Okeechobee Achievement Academy- 38
• Okeechobee Freshman Campus- 29
• Okeechobee High School- 109
• Okeechobee Virtual School-0
• Osceola Middle School- 93
Between Saturday, August 28 and Friday, September 3, 55 students and/or staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
•Central Elementary- 3
• District Staff- 1
• Everglades Elementary- 4
• North Elementary- 7
• Okeechobee Achievement Academy- 6
Since school began on August 10, 2021, 2,898 students and/or staff have been excluded from in-person instruction and 247 have tested positive.
