• On March 4 at approximately 9 p.m., OCFR responded to a call regarding a brush fire in the 1600 block of Northwest 45th Terrace. When they arrived, they found a 6’x6’ pile containing mostly yard clippings along with some lumber and other illegal burn products. The owner was using the fire as a warming fire. • On March 7 at approximately 12:30 pm, OCFR responded to a citizen complaint of a brush fire in the 15300 block of Northwest 296th Street. When they arrived, they found a 5’x5’ hole containing some smoldering logs from a campfire the previous night. The fire was extinguished, and the crew cleared the scene.
• On March 8 at approximately 2 a.m., OCFR responded to a call regarding a vehicle fire in the 42200 block of U.S. 441 North. When they arrived, they found Osceola County Sheriff’s Office on the scene of a single cab Dodge Ram box truck fully involved. The fire was extinguished, and the fire marshal was notified. The owner said she was driving down the road when she noticed smoke coming from under the hood. When she pulled over to check, she saw flames. The truck had recently been in the shop for work on the radiator and the electrical system.
