OKEECHOBEE — Okeechobee Healthy Start, a leading organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of families in the community, is delighted to announce the retirement of its esteemed community liaison, Pam Duenas. After an incredible five years of tireless dedication and extraordinary accomplishments, Pam will be stepping down from her position to embark on a new chapter in her life.

Pam Duenas has been an invaluable member of the Healthy Start team, generating countless beautiful collaborations and partnerships with individuals and agencies throughout this small rural community. Her passion and commitment have been instrumental in fostering strong relationships that have furthered the mission of Okeechobee Healthy Start. Healthy Start is immensely grateful for her exceptional work, which has left an indelible mark on the coalition.

Throughout her tenure, Pam has exemplified the core values of generosity, compassion, and love. Her kind heart and unwavering support have touched the lives of countless individuals and families in the community. Pam’s contributions extend far beyond her role as Community Liaison. She has been a vital piece of the team and family, and Healthy Start is thrilled to announce that she will always be a part of its team and events as its number one fan and volunteer.

As Pam enters this well-deserved phase of her life, she plans to devote her time to relaxation at home, enjoying her pool, tending to her garden, and, most importantly, cherishing moments with her beloved family and friends. After dedicating 45 years to the workforce, Pam’s retirement marks a time for her to shine and follow her heart.
