OKEECHOBEE - A 33-year-old Okeechobee man was seriously injured in a three-vehicle accident which killed a Grant City man and  injured a man from Lake Wales.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol  report, the Okeechobee man was headed eastbound on State Road 60 in a pickup truck at approximately  6:15 a.m. on Thursday,  April 8.  The 30-year-old Grant City man was traveling west on State Road 60 in a sedan. The third vehicle was driven by a 70-year-old Lake Wales man who was headed east in a sedan.

The driver of the sedan attempted to make a left hand turn onto  154th Avenue in Indian Rver County, and  the pickup truck hit the passenger's side of his car.  After the impact, the sedan came to rest in the eastbound lane and was struck by a second sedan.
