OKEECHOBEE — Okeechobee United is a 12 and under (U12) youth soccer team that is currently playing under the Indiantown Warriors Soccer Club. They are referenced as Indiantown Warriors Okeechobee United. They are competing in the Treasure Coast Recreational League U12 against teams from Indiantown, Hobe Sound, Jensen Beach and Martin County. They are currently undefeated in the Treasure Coast Recreational League and this weekend won the Brevard Recreational Classic Tournament U12 division. Coaches eventually plan on developing an Okeechobee Soccer Club with this team and hoping to add other youth teams in the future, depending on interest.
