OKEECHOBEE — Osceola Middle School appreciates the local Buckhead Ridge VFW Post 9528. The post has been offering OMS the opportunity to participate in an essay contest called The Patriot’s Pen! Osceola had three winners with a total of $350 given away! The topic of this year’s competition was “what does Patriotism mean to me?” Congratulations to Yureli Serrano, who took home $200, Jordyne Clay ($100) and Jordan Llorens ($50).
