OKEECHOBEE — Osceola Middle School Civics Students learned first hand by putting on a "mock election". Some students were even collecting the fliers than came in the mail in order to compare the candidates. This lined up perfectly with the standard that covers civic obligations and responsibilities. 202 students cast their votes today using the same candidates and amendments as the general ballot. They will be comparing school results to the actual state results when we return to school.
