OKEECHOBEE- The Okeechobee High School Brahman Band performed at halftime during Okeechobee’s game against South Fork on Sept. 14. The marching band performed their show ‘The Night Guardian’ featuring the songs Pure Imagination, Enter Sandman, and Dream On.
Last year the Brahman Band earned a Straight Superior Rating at the District 13 Marching Band Music Performance Assessment held at Jensen Beach High School. And in 2021 the band made history when they competed at the Florida Marching Band Championships.
Over 60 of the best bands from around Florida participated in Okeechobee’s 5A semifinal in 2021 and only 32 were selected for finals. Okeechobee finished in fifth place and a score of 80.8 for the season, the highest the program has ever earned.
