Pics: Okeechobee celebrates Fourth of July at Ag Center

The Okeechobee Fraternal Order of Police hosted the 2021 Independence Day Celebration at the Okeechobee County Agri-Civic Center & Fairgrounds on July 4.

Gates opened at 5 p.m. Inside the Agri-Civic Center different local groups and organizations hosted games and activities for kids and adults alike. Attendees battled each other in a last man standing hula hoop event, watermelon eating competition, giant Jenga, and more.

The event was sponsored by Florida Public Utilities Company. Buxton and Bass Funeral Homes, American Drilling Services, Dairy Queen, Teez 2 Pleez, WOKC, and Gilbert Outdoors.
