OKEECHOBEE -- During the city council meeting this week, Okeechobee City Police Chief Donald Hagan recognized Lt. Belen Reyna, who was promoted from the rank of sergeant last month. Sgt. Chad Troutman was also recently promoted. Reyna was pinned by his wife Sursha, and Troutman was pinned by his daughter Haley. Retired Police Chief Bob Peterson was on hand to congratulate the men, and several officers attended to show their support.
