Posted

A tropical depression is likely to soak Florida this week according to the National Weather Service.

Hurricane Agatha,  the first storm of the Eastern Pacific Hurricane Season, made landfill in Mexico as a category 2 hurricane on Monday. According to the Associated Press, at least 11 people died and 20 more were missing due to the hurricane.

The remnants of the storm could become a tropical depression in the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday or Friday. If it becomes a storm, it would be named Alex, the first name in the 2022 Atlantic hurricane season name list.
