Rugged Earth Outfitters to open in Okeechobee on April 2

OKEECHOBEE- Rugged Earth Outfitters is scheduled to have its grand opening in Okeechobee this weekend.

At 8:45 a.m. on April 2 the new store with have it’s ribbon cutting and grand opening in the Northlake Village Plaza in Okeechobee near Publix.

Rugged Earth Outfitters bills itself as a place to purchase tough and dependable name-brand fishing, hunting, hiking and workwear for men and women. The outdoor outfitter is an extension of the Bealls family of stores.

Currently there are only six Rugged Earth stores across the United States, but Belles has plans to open six more by the fall of 2022. Each store has it’s own centralized theme. For the Okeechobee location that theme will be fishing, with Rugged Earth saying they’ll showcase outdoor clothing that works and plays as hard as you do.

Corporate representatives from Bealls as well as representatives from the Okeechobee Chamber of Commerce will be present at the opening.
