OKEECHOBEE – You better watch out! Not only is Santa Claus coming to town, but he’s also bringing the Grinch with him.

Four Santa and the Grinch visits are planned in Okeechobee in December. Come out and have your photo taken with them at the following locations:

• Dec. 7 at Buxton and Bass Funeral Home, 400 N. Parrott Avenue, from 6 to 8 p.m.;

• Dec. 8, at Mixon Real Estate, 1306 S.W. Second Avenue, Okeechobee, from 6 to 8 p.m,;

• Dec. 9, at Mixon Real Estate, 1306 S.W. Second Avenue, Okeechobee, from 6 to 8 p.m,;

• Dec. 10, in Flagler Park after the Okeechobee Christmas Parade. (The parade starts around 6 p.m.)

Photos with Santa and the Grinch are free. Donations will be accepted for the Okeechobee County Shop with a Cop program. Shop with a Cop pairs children from low income families with deputies who accompany them on a holiday shopping spree.

This is the fifth year the Grinch has made Okeechobee visits.

The Grinch will ride in the Okeechobee Christmas parade on the Mixon Real Estate float, which will feature scenes from Whoville.
