OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee Chapter Sons of the American Revolution presented Brad Phares of Wreaths Across America a $120 donation and a certificate of appreciation. Wreaths Across America places Christmas wreaths on veterans’ graves each year. This year, the event will be on Dec 19. Due to the pandemic, donations are currently below what is needed to provide a wreath on every veteran’s grave at the Evergreen, Fort Drum and Basinger cemeteries.
