OKEECHOBEE — Gary Kirsch was inducted as a member of the Okeechobee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution at their October meeting. Gary’s patriot was Henry McNeill, overseer of roads for the revolution. The meeting was a joint meeting with the Okeechobee Daughters of the American Revolution and was held at the Raulerson log cabin. Okeechobee Historical Society President Magi Cable presented a program on the history of the cabin, and led tours of the historic home.
