OKEECHOBEE — At the April meeting of the Okeechobee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, past President Gary Miles (left) was presented the National Society Lafayette Volunteer Service Medal for over 40 hours of volunteer service to the SAR. Gary was also presented the National Society George Washington Challenge Coin for his Patriot presentation at the meeting. Making the presentation are SAR President Jim Pippin (R) and Vice President Jim Green (background).
