SAR welcomes junior member at December meeting

OKEECHOBEE — The speaker for the December Sons of the American Revolution meeting was Debra Austin, program manger for Okeechobee Senior Services. She spoke on the services provided by Senior Services and the needs our seniors have. SAR President Jim Pippin presented Debra with a certificate of appreciation and approximately 100 cans of soup donated by the members for the weekend feeding program.

Also at the December meeting, the Sons of the American Revolution welcomed their first junior member. Caleb Croslyn is the son of Compatriot Preston Croslyn and great nephew of Compatriot Gary Miles. Joining Cableb as he signed his membership application are his father Preston, great uncle Gary, and SAR Registrar Gary Howard.
