OKEECHOBEE — Artist Rose Besch, of Sebring, recently donated two of her paintings to the Historical Society for their Okeechobee Battlefield display. These paintings were inspired by her visit to the Battlefield Re-enactment from a few years ago. The Historical Society was only too happy to accept this wonderful donation. This year, the re-enactment will not be held, due to limits on crowds in the park.
