SES students donate to Trail of Hope

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — At South Elementary, third grade students in Mrs. Robincheck and Mrs. Bricker’s classes have completed two service projects for animals. After reading “The One and Only Ivan,” they were inspired to do a service project for elephants and gorillas in Africa. Then the class read “The One and Only Bob.” There was such great participation from the elephant and gorilla project, they decided to something locally for the animal rescue center. Pictured are the students with their donations for Trail of Hope. They even got to have a Zoom call with volunteers and animals at Trail of Hope!
