Posted
OKEECHOBEE — On August 11, members of the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force, the Special Response Team (SRT), and field agents from the DEA served a probable cause narcotics search warrant at 2942 N.W. 35TH Avenue (Basswood) in Okeechobee.

While securing the scene, several subjects were found and detained at the residence. Those subjects are; Jessica Beechum, Angela Beechum, Aubrey Waldron, David Thomas, Cole Thomas, and Ralph Green.

At that location, investigators found methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia throughout the residence.

Jessica Beechum was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Angela Beechum was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, tampering with evidence, resisting without violence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

David Thomas, Cole Thomas, and Aubrey Waldron; were each charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

A 10-year-old child who lives in the home was at school at the time of the warrant service. The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) became involved due to the living conditions of the residence and no one being able to be home at the time of school release to pick up the child. That child is now in a safe environment.
