WEST PALM BEACH — The Clewiston Lady Tigers celebrate their win over The King’s Academy on Feb. 27.

• Glades Central Lady Raiders
The Glades Central Lady Raiders were shut out when they faced Wellington on March 9, 16-0. Their most recent win came when the Lady Raiders defeated Ahfachkee 15-14 on Feb. 27. Up next Glades Central hosts Clewiston March 11 at 7 p.m.

• Clewiston Lady Tigers
The Clewiston Lady Tigers are off to a 5-3 start after winning their first five games back-to-back to open the season. The Lady Tigers lost a close game to Moore Haven 15-14 on Feb. 28, and then fell to LaBelle and Lake Placid in consecutive games. Junior Macy Chancey currently leads the Lady Tigers with 11 hits so far this season. Clewiston will try to get things back on track when they travel to face Glades Central at 7 p.m. on March 11.

• Glades Day Lady Gators
The Glades Day Lady Gators split their two games last week, beating Highlands Christian on March 3 while losing to rival LaBelle on March 5. The Lady Gators beat Highland Christian by double digits, winning 12-2. Freshman Nicki Ruiz led the team in RBIs in that game with two, while senior Ashlyn Bifolck struck out five batters in six innings pitched. The Lady Gators will next be on the road on March 12 to take on Clewiston at 7 p.m.

• Moore Haven Lady Terriers
The Moore Haven Lady Terrier secured a hard-fought win against Clewiston on Feb. 28, 15-14. Brilyn Capling, Marissa Burchard, Makayla Moise and Makayla Strenth each had two RBIs against the Lady Tigers. Taylor Cochran pitched for all seven innings, striking out seven batters. The Lady Terriers will next be on the road at Evangelical Christian at 4:30 p.m. on March 12.

• Pahokee Lady Blue Devils

Mush like the baseball team, the Pahokee Lady Blue Devils are still searching for their first win of the season. Pahokee lost 16-0 when they faced Wellington on March 9. The Lady Blue Devils will host Somerset Academy on March 12 at 4:30 p.m. in Pahokee.

• Okeechobee Lady Brahmans
After falling to St. Cloud on Feb. 28, the Okeechobee Lady Brahmans have been able to bounce back with back-to-back wins over Vero Beach and Jensen Beach. Okeechobee beat Vero 10-8 on March 4 and defeated Jensen 6-5 on March 6. The Lady Brahmans rallied to get the win over Vero, while they found themselves holding off a Jensen rally late in the seventh inning.
Up next, they’ll be on the road at Centennial on March 12 at 4 p.m.
