SWAT team says farewell

Posted

OKEECHOBEE - On Thursday, July 1, Okeechobee County Sheriff's SWAT team said goodbye to their leader. It was a bitter sweet day as Col. Gary “City Boy” Bell, UnderSheriff, officially retired.

The Current OCSO SWAT team, and former team members, met for one last goodbye.

Col. Bell was presented with a metal symbol of the SWAT team, signed by all past and present members.

Bell served as a member of the SWAT team and worked his way eventually to Commander of SWAT Services .

"You will be missed more than you know brother. Semper fidelis and enjoy!" said his team.

OCSO, SWAT
