Athlete needs help on the road to the Junior Olympics in Humble, Texas

My name is Madison Maitland and I am a third-year athlete with Pahokee Elite Track Club in Pahokee. I attend South Elementary school in Okeechobee where I have maintained an A/B Honor Roll and hold a position as a 5th-grade Safety Patrol. Through hard work and training, I was fortunate to attend and become an AAU Champion at the 2019 AAU Junior Olympics Championship meet in Des Moines, Iowa performing in 9-year-old shotput and javelin.

Unfortunately, my 2020 season was shortened due to COVID-19. This year, 2021, I plan to once again, claim the title as an AAU Junior Olympics Champion in both the shotput and the javelin. The 2021 AAU Junior Olympics Championship Track meet will take place in Humble, Texas, July 30 through August 6, 2021. Each athlete is responsible for funding his or her airfare, food, hotel stays and transportation.

To make this possible, I need your help.

I will be raffling off a Yeti Roadie 24 cooler to help attend the Junior Olympics. Raffle tickets can be purchased this Saturday, July 13 at Publix Grocery Store in Okeechobee. Tickets are $5 per entry. Donations would be greatly appreciated at this time as well.

Thank you in advance for all your help.
