Work underway on splash pad at sports complex

OKEECHOBEE -- Work is underway on the new splash pad at the Darrell Enfinger Sports Complex in Okeechobee.

OKEECHOBEE -- Work is underway on the new splash pad at the Darrell Enfinger Sports Complex, 640 Northwest 27th Lane Okeechobee. The splash pad should open sometime this summer. The sports complex includes a swimming pool, baseball/softball fields, football/soccer field, basketball courts, tennis court, picnic pavillions and a playground. The pool is currently open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Summer hours start in June.
