A day in the life of a kindergartner ...

OKEECHOBEE — Everglades Elementary School welcomes new kindergartners for the 2022-2023 school year. These new Gators find that their day is going to be quite busy.

First there is the bus ride to school. They arrive at school safely and say goodbye to the bus driver.  (Photo courtesy Everglades Elementary School)

Before class begins, all of the students have a delicious breakfast in the cafeteria. (Photo courtesy Everglades Elementary School)

There are lots of activities to do during the day. Coloring with crayons is one of them! (Photo courtesy Everglades Elementary School)

Finally it's time for lunch! Lunch time is their favorite time. They get to eat with friends and enjoy a break from all of their hard work. (Photo courtesy Everglades Elementary School)
