Alleluia! He is risen!

He is risen! Alleluia! That was our joyful prayer this past Sunday morning. Jesus, who came to teach us how to live, to redeem us from sin and shame, died and rose from the dead to solidify our place in heaven, if we choose to grasp it.

While it’s impossible to understand such love, we can see it all around us...a sunrise, a sunset, the miracle of birth, seeds that become flowers, people caring for each other through thick and thin, the evolution of the human body, electricity, medical science. Where does all this come from? From a God who loves us enough to come to earth, become one with us and fix what mankind had broken in the Garden of Eden.

It’s a simplistic way of explaining our God, but it’s true. And if we mirror our lives with such love and joy, others will see that love is in us. They will want the love and joy they see in you, and you will have brought a searching soul to Jesus.

The best way to ‘instruct’ a person in the faith is to live that faith. If you truly believe that Jesus lived and died for you, your countenance will show it. You will do your best to be honest, sincere, and caring. Your life will abound with joy because you really know Jesus. Remember…you may be the only Bible someone will ever read. So, live what you say you believe. Let it show. And God will do the rest.
