On July 29, the Hendry-Glades Bar Association awarded scholarships to three graduates of LaBelle High School who are attending law school. Eachreceived $1,500. Beatriz Cardoza (right, LaBelle High School Class of 2015) is entering her third year at Ave Maria Law School in Naples, Alton Burton (left, LHS Class of 2013) is entering his second year at Ave Maria, and Scott Morrison (center, LHS Class of 2015) is entering his first year at Barry Law School in Orlando. The Hendry-Glades Bar Association is a professional organization for attorneys practicing law in Hendry and Glades counties.
