Belle Glade and South Bay commission elections in March

BELLE GLADE – Some Florida cities will have municipal elections in March.

The City of Belle Glade has two races on the ballot in the March 14 elections.

In the City Commission Seat A race, the candidates are Stanley D. Highsmith.

In the City Commission Seat B race, the candidates are Robert Mitchell and Steve Wilson. Wilson is currently the mayor of Belle Glade.

South Bay City Commission races will also be in the ballot.

In the Seat 1 race, the candidates are Esther E. Berry and John Brockman.

In the Seat 3 race, the candidates are Barbara King and Taranza McKelvin.

In the Seat 5 race, the candidates are Albert “Church Boy” Polk IV and George Sanford.
