Brush fire in Pioneer Plantation restricts access to residents only

LABELLE -- The Hendry County Sheriff's Office updated its report about a brush fire in the area of Pioneeer 15th Streed and Christopher Lane.
 
Fire officials are reporting that the fire is now 100% contained and the area has been reopened.
 
Hendry County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Pioneer, LaBelle and Clewiston Fire Department, Lee County Strike Team and Division of Forestry are currently on scene of a large brush fire in the area of Pioneer 15th Street and Christopher Lane.
 
Deputy’s are stopping traffic at Homestead Avenue and Pioneer 14th Street, in the Pioneer Plantation community; residents who live in the area of Pioneer 15th Street and Christopher Lane will be permitted access to their homes.
