Business Corner: Aaction Power Equipment

LABELLE- Frank Pohill and Bebe Pohill are a local, husband and wife team who own Aaction Power Equipment.

”If you need a mower, golf cart, or Stihl, we got it! You already have, but needs work, we got it! if you need a rental for small equipment, we got it! Come on out and see us at Aaction Power Equipment,” said Frank.

With family originally from Perry, Florida, the Pohills have been long time residents of Hendry County. Frank Pohill was raised in Clewiston, and has run various businesses in LaBelle for many years. His wife, Bebe, has worked in the Hendry County School District for 35 years.

When asked what he likes most about Hendry County, he replied, “All of the wonderful people, small town atmosphere, conservative people.”

He described Aaction Power Equipment, as a, “Great local business. You don’t have to go out of town for  golf carts, mowers, Stihl, and also repair on all of them as well.”

How did he get started with this business? He said, “I like to do things with my own hands. He bought real estate and opened his own businesses.” He went on to say that he started his very first business in 1976 a Suzuki Motorcycle dealership.

What is Frank’s business philosophy? “Treat others with respect, pretty simple,” he answered. “We have tons of loyal customers. Between local mowing businesses, show birds, or events for golf carts. We also have contracts with the city, county, and state of Florida.”

Having a great group of employees, Frank said, is what he loves most about running the business.

Aaction Power Equipment is located at 950 SR 29, in North LaBelle. For more information about their products and services, visit their website:
