Camp kids go fishing

Posted

OKEECHOBEE - Children enrolled in the Okeechobee County Parks and Recreation's  Summer Play Camp enjoyed a day of fishing this week.

"Special thanks to The folks at FWC helping out and making sure every camper goes home with a rod, reel and tackle box. Another huge thank you to Okeechobee Fishing Headquarters for helping out, bringing the bait, and showing the kids a real bass fishing boat. Special appreciation to the Okeechobee County Agri-Civic center for letting us fish at the pond!" said Okeechobee Parks and Recreation representatives.
