CLEWISTON – The Hendry County Cattle Women’s Association, in conjunction with the Clewiston Christian FFA Prospect Show, will host a Beef Cook-off on Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Hendry County Fairgrounds from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will include yard games, recipe sharing and nutritional information. It costs $10 to enter the cook-off and $5 donation to taste and vote. Any leftovers will be given away for donations. If you wish to compete, email blwhidden@gmail.com or message the Hendry County Cattlewomen on Facebook. Participants will cook whatever beef dish they choose and prepare it at home or at the event.
