OKEECHOBEE — The Chamber of Commerce of Okeechobee County is celebrating its 10 year anniversary. Continuing with the celebrating, it was decided that a lobby face lift was in order.

After several discussions of what was needed in that area and what would look good, the remake has taken place. A big thank you goes out to two extremely hard working and dedicated businessmen: Jeff Jones and his Dad Jerry, for the brochure racks and to Jeff (Jonesy) for the amazing seating arrangement. Aaron Parriott, with his daughter Mariah Parriott, for the framing of the photography that took hours of work not only putting them together but getting them hung as well.

Photography was submitted by Sharie Turgeon, Sharon Cannon Jones and Paulette Wise.

The new safety screens on the front doors were designed and installed by Custom Graphics & Signs, Inc, Melissa McKay.

What an awesome difference all these additions make to the lobby. Please stop by the chamber for a visit and view their handiwork for yourself. While you are here be sure and pick up a 2021 Chamber Guide.
