OKEECHOBEE — Summer Activity Mini-grants are available for Okeechobee County children ages 0-18.

The form can be requested by emailing Cheryl Sutton at Suttonc@okee.k12.fl.us. Agencies must provide a summer program on the correct form. They can receive the form from the Children’s Services Council starting immediately. All summer requests must be received by Tuesday, March 14, at 2 p.m. Please either email at the above address or deliver to Cheryl Sutton at the Okeechobee County Board, Room 102 on a Tuesday only. This year there is approximately $250,000 available for funding.

A decision will be made for funding recommendations at the Council during their next scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 13. Agencies will know if they have been funded and for what amount on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
