Church gives away more than 200 backpacks

OKEECHOBEE -- Saint Stephen AME  Church and JustShawn Events teamed up to sponsor a back to school back pack giveaway on Saturday, July 24. Many members of the community provided donations, allowing the event to distribute more than 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
