City-wide Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued in LaBelle

LABELLE -- A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the City of LaBelle water service area. All City of LaBelle water users are advised to bring drinking water to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to consumption.

The notice is necessary due to an electrical service issue. Water service was lost (pressure loss) to the city water service area. Service is back to normal.  .

This notice is effective immediately and is expected to be in effect until Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at noon when a Bacteriological Survey shows the water is safe to drink or a different notice is issued regarding the boil water action. For further information please call Joseph Thomas at 863-674-1145 or City Hall during regular business hours at 863-675-2872.
