WEST PALM BEACH — The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is excited to share information about its “Any Time Is 3T’s Time” campaign, a new program by which the ELC is increasing awareness and supporting families in the vital role adults play in promoting language development though connections and conversations.

The coalition is looking for Glades families to participate, from any of the Tri-Cities (Belle Glade, Pahokee and South Bay) or rural unincorporated areas in western Palm Beach County. To register, go online to forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx.

The “Any Time Is 3T’s Time” campaign highlights how, when parents talk and interact with their children, they boost brain development beginning when their children are just infants. The three Ts are: “Tune In, Talk More, Take Turns.”

According to the flier put out by the ELC of PBC regarding these offerings, other sponsors are: Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R); the Center for Early Learning + Public Health; the Association of Early Learning Coalitions; and the PNC Foundation.

The Palm Beach County ELC invites all parents of children up to age 3 who live in the Glades areas to join one of these groups: the parent workshop, where stipends are available for participants who complete the eight weekly session; or, Family Coaching, which will provide each family registering with a take-home kit to use in building their children’s language skills.

The registration deadline is Friday, Nov. 27, and the sessions begin on Tuesday, Dec. 1. To learn more, contact: Christopher Velazquez, 561-514-3303, christopher.velazquez@elcpalmbeach.org; or, Adriana Chapa, 561-231-5860, adriana.chapa@elcpalmbeach.org.

There is a strict limit on spaces available for these sessions. The flier notes, “Selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis once prerequisites are met.”
