In light of the decisions by Dade and Broward counties to close their public beaches for the Fourth of July holiday weekend, and in keeping with Collier County’s ongoing effort to continue to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners, at a June 30, 2020 special board meeting, approved a motion to modify Collier County’s Fourth of July holiday beach access in the following manner:

Fourth of July Weekend, (Friday, July 3, 2020 through Sunday July 5, 2020)

Beaches are open sunrise – 11:00 a.m. (closing hour), and then reopen at 5:00 p.m. through sunset. All county parking garages, lots and facilities are limited to access only by County residents whose vehicles have Collier County/City of Naples beach parking passes.

Weekdays (Mondays through Fridays – except for July 3rd)

Beaches are open during regular hours of operation with no further restrictions.

Collier County beaches include the following locations: Barefoot Beach Access and Preserve Area, Vanderbilt Beach Park, Seagate Access, Clam Pass Park, Tigertail Beach, South Marco Beach, and N Gulfshore Drive Access points.

Collier County Government will continue monitoring compliance with protocols to ensure residents are accessing and enjoying the beaches in a safe manner.
