WEST PALM BEACH — The West Palm Beach VA (WPBVA) COVID-19 Vaccine crew is packing up supplies to go on the road and bring the vaccine to veterans, their spouses and caregivers.
WPBVA is proud to partner with the Community United Methodist Church in Belle Glade to improve access for veterans and their loved ones by hosting a COVID-19 Vaccine Walk-In Clinic on April 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Church in Belle Glade located at 401 S.W. First St. in Belle Glade.
In accordance with CDC and FDA guidance, WPBVA will resume offering the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. After careful review and evaluation, the vaccine is deemed safe for use and effective in preventing COVID-19.
The clinic will offer both the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine to all veterans (of any age), all spouses of veterans and all caregivers of veterans (ages 18 and up) by appointment or as a walk-in.
Please Note: For those who receive the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, a second appointment will be scheduled four weeks from the date the vaccine is administered for the second dosage. If a veteran/spouse/caregiver has received vaccinations, such as the flu or shingles vaccine, a waiting period of 14 days is required from the date of vaccination before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. To schedule a COVID-19 Vaccine appointment, please
call 561-422-5220.
