County contractors will be conducting roadway construction

CLEWISTON – Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 13, Hendry County’s contractor, OHL USA, Inc., will be conducting roadway construction services adjacent to the railroad crossing on CR 720 in Clewiston.

The work includes milling and resurfacing of the existing roadway.

The speed limit will be reduced through the project area.

Motorists should expect lane closures and possible delays throughout the duration of the project and allow extra time for their commute.

Motorists should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.

Flagmen will be present to help direct traffic.

The work is expected to have a completion time of approximately one day.

Operations will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 8 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.

Please note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change. The Hendry County Engineering Department will notify of any changes.
