WEST PALM BEACH — Join the Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) for a virtual WebEx meeting hosted by the Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m.
Cyndi Longley, Palm Beach County Cooperative Extension Service program manager, will talk about the First-Time Home Buyer course, a free, two-class program that explores the home buying process from budgeting and calculating affordability to how to be a responsible homeowner. The program helps future homebuyers make the best decision for their financial situation, prepares them for homeownership, and equips them with resources to maintain their home properly once they become homeowners. Longley will also discuss Cooperative Extension’s Financial Management and Family Nutrition programs.
There will be an update on initiatives undertaken by the Office of Community Revitalization to assist the communities it serves.
