The Cowgirl weightlifting team are 2022 District Champions! This is the fifth year for the Cowgirls to take home the district championship. It is the first year they did it in the 2A classification. It is the first year the sport has added the Snatch and the Cowgirls won that also!
All of the nineteen Cowgirl lifters move on to Regional competition on Thursday Jan 27th at Charlotte High School. From there they will try to punch their ticket to state competition.
Individual District champions (won their weight class) were:
Seniors Journey Vidaurri, and Jacquelin Baltazar, Juniors Emma Willis and Mariannys Ramones, Sophomores Calia White and Isabella Perez.
