Elks announce winners of Oct. 23 Soccer Shoot

CLEWISTON — The Elks Southeast District Soccer Shoot took place on Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Clewiston Youth Development Academy playfield. Medals were awarded by Elks SE District Deputy Ed Morey and his wife, Elaine, a Past Exalted Ruler of the West Palm Beach Elks Lodge.

Medal winners will compete on Dec. 4 in The Elks South Region Soccer Shoot in Clewiston. The Region winner in each age group will compete in the Elks State Soccer Shoot on Jan. 8 at the Elks Camp in Umatilla.

The medals winners included:
Boys U-8: Jairo took first place, and Caleb Phillips took second place

Girls U-8: Sofia Velasco took first place and Arianny Aragus took second place
Boys U-10: Charlie Barnes -34*- took first place, Devon Lattimore took second place, Julian Santiago took third place, Blake Ball took fourth place, and Alexander Trevino took fifth place.
Girls U-10: Alexa Trevino took first place.
Boys U-12: Judson Phillips took first place, and Michael Bussott took second place.
Girls U-12: Crystal Santiago took first place, Alexa Lattimore took second place, and Breanna Ball took third place.
Boys U-14: Dakota Donnelly - 34*- took first place, William Bussott took second place, Jose Velasco took third place, and Raul Mondragon took fourth place.
Boys U-16: Wyatt Phillips took first place.
Girls U-16: Samantha Aragus took first place
