Elks Soccer Shoot announces results

CLEWISTON — The local Elks Soccer Shoot was held at the Clewiston Youth Development Academy playground on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

The medal winners included:

• Mason Molina from Eastside Elementary School, placed first in the U-8 Boys.
• Gunnar Cox, placed second in the U-8 Boys.
• Faith Brady, Eastside Elementary, placed first in the U-8 Girls.
• Taylor Youmans from Clewiston Christian School (CCS) placed second in the U-8 Girls.
• Brayden Casique from CCS won the U-10 Boys title for the second year in a row with 39 points.
• Charlie Barnes from Westside Elementary School (WES) placed second.
• Michael Bussott, from WES, placed third.
• David J. Hernandez from EES placed fourth.

• William Maya, from EES placed fifth.
• Phillip Youmans from CCS tied for sixth place with Andrew Kindred from WES.
• Rachel Maya, from Eastside Elementary placed first in U-10 Girls.
• William Bussott from Clewiston Middle School (CMS) and Terrance Ford from Glade View Elementary (GVE) tied for first place in U-12 Boys. They will kick their tiebreaker before the Elks Southeast District Soccer Shoot on Oct. 24.
• Paisley Bellew from CCS placed first in U-12 Girls.
• Jace Vallejo from Clewiston Christian High School (CCHS) placed first in U-14 Boys, scoring a meet high 41 points.
• Landon Bellew, from CCS, placed second with 39 points.
• Marcos Garcia from CMS placed third with 32 points.
• David Gonzalez from CCS placed fourth.
• Julio Pujol from CYDA placed fifth.
• Rolando Gonzalez from CCS placed sixth.
• Jenisis Hernandez from CMS won the Girls U-14 division with 32 points including 2 five point goals.
• Brittany Casique from CCS placed second in U-14 Girls.
• Sa’Monya Donjoie, from Clewiston Youth Developmental Academy (CYDA) won the Girls U-16 division.
• Harley Youmans from CCHS placed second.
• Cari Anthony, from Glades Central High School placed third.
• Jillian Barton placed fourth.

All medal winners are invited to compete in the Elks SE District Soccer Shoot in Clewiston on Saturday, Oct. 24.
