I want to thank Carel, at the Caloosa Belle, for help with a big problem at Port LaBelle for years.
It has been a drag strip and race track here at Eucalyptus Boulevard and Collingswood Parkway.
She reached out to Commissioner Ramon Iglesias and he had a speed recorder device placed here. For weeks I saw a lot of officers, sometimes four at one time and it was great. Thank you Ramon.
The sign has been moved and I no longer see officers (I am sure), as neighbors are not seeing officers. Now chaos is starting as there are new vehicles (I have descriptions) and a lot more burnout tire tracks. The sign is here but in another location.
It is like these speeders are laughing at law enforcement while speeding and burning out like before.
I don’t know why for a short time there were a lot of officers and now it seems like there are none. Seven of my neighbors haven’t seen law enforcement and neither have I.
I witnessed a cat being hit and it sailed over 100 feet. Next time it could be a child or a senior citizen riding a bike. It is easy to just look at the burnout tire marks, a race track here.
We do not understand why there were so many officers and now there is none to see.
