Moore Haven Terriers (0-1)
The Moore Haven Terriers are back on the field this week after over a month of being sidelined due to quarantine protocols related to COVID-19. The Terriers last played during the opening week of high school football around the state, on Sept. 11 against the Okeechobee Brahmans. The Terriers lost that game 32-6, so they had to sit with that loss on their minds for a lot longer than most teams do. They’ll attempt to shake of that loss and a little rust this week when they host Tampa Bay Christian Academy on Oct. 17 at 3 p.m.

Glades Day Gators (2-2)

The Glades Day Gators fell to Boca Raton Christian last week, 28-19. The game was close in the fourth quarter as the Gators trailed 21-19. Glades Day’s Gilmore Hardley intercepted a Boca Raton pass near the Gator 2-yard line to give his team a chance to march down the field and take the lead. But one play later, the Gators fumbled the ball and Boca Raton recovered in the end zone for a touchdown. Next the Gators host the 3-1 First Baptist Academy Lions at 7 p.m. on Oct. 16.

Okeechobee Brahmans (3-2)
The Okeechobee Brahmans were one play away from tying the Fort Pierce Westwood Panthers last week, ultimately coming up just short. The Brahmans fell to the Panthers 19-12, with Westwood doing most of their damage in the third quarter. This week the Brahmans are back in Okeechobee hosting the 1-4 Port St. Lucie Jaguars at 7 p.m. on Oct. 16.

• Clewiston Tigers (3-1)
The Clewiston Tigers bounced back after last week’s close loss to Calvary Christian Academy. The Tigers beat Archbishop McCarthy 36-0. The Tiger defense has shut out three different teams this season. This week the Tigers will host the 3-1 Cardinal Newman Crusaders at 7 p.m. on Oct. 16.
