God is our natural environment…

The Weekly Clothesline

Posted

Some time ago, I read this anonymous article on Facebook: When God created fish, He spoke to the sea. When God created trees, He spoke to the earth. But when God wanted to create man, He turned to Himself in order to make man in His own image. Therefore, if you take a fish out of the water, it will die. If you remove a tree from the soil, it will also die. And when man is disconnected from God, man will die. How profound!

God the Creator loves us unconditionally, wants to be involved in our daily lives, even if we don’t acknowledge His Presence, and He shows us the road signs of life. So add your own knowledge of where God has been and is present in your life. Personalizing God makes his power and presence even more real, more amazing.

God is our natural environment. We are created to live in His presence. We have to be connected to Him because it is only in Him that life exists. Those few lines alone should make it easy for us to get up every morning. We draw our strength from God, who created us no matter what we face. When things don’t go right on any given day, be assured that there is a plan and that whatever happens, God will provide the strength to get through it. It may not be easy, but there is a connection to our Creator that will see us through.
