CLEWISTON — On Monday, May 10, 2021, Margo Fatzinger, president of the Clewiston Green Thumb Club, presented Public Service Academy student Esther Mutyaba with a $500 scholarship at the Clewiston High School Senior Awards Night. Miss Mutyaba will attend Edward Waters College or Thomas University for nursing degree.
The goal of the Clewiston GTGC is to nurture a love of agriculture and horticulture and to encourage our youth to promote community service. This is the club’s fifth year presenting these awards, and they were pleased with all the applications received from the Public Service Academy. This year there were no applicants from the agricultural department.
Congratulations to Esther Mutyaba on your wonderful accomplishments and good luck in the future.
